Meals-2-you

Based at OWL Café, Meals-2-You delivers hot meals to local frail elderly and housebound people who are unable to cook a hot meal for themselves and have no one else to do it for them.

• The service can be temporary or permanent and operates Monday – Friday.
• Frozen meals can be supplied for the weekend and Bank Holidays.

Hot meals are delivered by volunteer drivers and are a non-profit making service.

Referral can be made through a doctor, community nurse, social worker, carer, warden or relative.  Home visits are arranged to discuss eligibility and explain the service.

Costs (correct at 14th April 2009)
£3.60 – main course and sweet delivered to your home hot and ready to eat
£3.45 – for a similar meal delivered frozen for use at weekends.
