Leisure Opportunities
OWL is reviewing and developing this area of provision. New opportunities will be featured on the Home Page’s ‘Latest News’ section.
On offer as part of the ‘added value’ to vocational training programme:
- Thursday afternoon multi-gym training (£1.50 per session)
- Creative Textiles

- Art, music, photography, ceramics and drama projects (one-offs, as funding allows)
- Supported annual holiday in OWL’s caravan at Kelling Heath for OWL members who would not otherwise have one.
(see link to Holiday Caravan) - Outings to places of interest or fun.
Open to all adults with learning disabilities:
- Tuesday Morning Sports Club - run by an experienced instructor for people with a wide range of abilities, making sport fun. Includes Boccia, indoor hockey and team games. (10-11am) £1.50 per session.
- Summer Swim Week – a week of morning swimming sessions with qualified swimming instructor for the less confident (dates tba).

Friday Night Club – a local voluntary group with close links to OWL, it runsevery Friday night during term time. Is open to young people of all ages and abilities. Offering an exciting programme of activities including:- karaoke, disco nights, reptile experience, drama and games.
