"Sawston's best kept secret"

OWL Café was opened by Dame Norma Major in September 2003 after a half million pound fundraising partnership appeal between OWL and Sawston Free Church. It is spacious, well equipped; a modern design combined with natural finishes. The community café and catering training centre has become a popular meeting place for people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds in the village whilst providing training for young people who need extra support.  The trainees are registered through Cambridge Regional College.

Star ratings are part of the national ‘Scores on the Doors’ scheme and five is tops!

On offer: fresh coffee, cakes, hot and cold meals, baguettes, paninis, breakfasts, home made soups and snacks daily - using local produce whenever possible.
